I chose a few excerpts from a famous speech credited to Kurt Vonnegut (in a rather impressive cyberspace scandal), but actually written by Mary Schmich for the Chicago Tribune. While the speech’s fame is due to the mis-crediting to Vonnegut, the words stand on their own. Everyone should read it once. Every few sentences are interrupted with pithy shorter word of advice, which I’ll summarize here: Sing. Floss. Stretch. Enjoy your body. Dance. Wear sunscreen.
